Herbert Denton Dodd, 84, a Murfreesboro resident and Warren County native, was born May 6, 1933 and died April 5 at the Tennessee State Veterans Home of Murfreesboro. He was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force, member of the Pentecostal Church and son of the late Richard and Mae Hill Dodd. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Joe and Brown Dodd; and three sisters, Willie Mae Marlow, Juanita Holder and Margaret Moore.
