Henry Clayton “H.C.” McElroy, 80, died Jan. 14.A faithful member of the Church of Christ and gospel minister for 67 years and well known in the West Nashville and McMinnville community, he worked as a real estate broker with Home Town Realty and Auction for over a decade. He was preceded in death by parents, W.J. and Emma Jane McElroy; and eight brothers and sisters.He is survived by wife of 59 years, Geneva Johnson McElroy; daughter, Pam (Jeff) Lynn; son, Roger (Lori) McElroy; grandchildren, Heather (Steven) Smith, Jenny (Blake) Sykes, Jessica Hayley McElroy; great-grandchildren, Logan Smith, Annabelle Sykes; special friends, Jana and Jera Ringemann and Gertye Wilson. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday with Danny Stuart officiating.
