Huntsville, Ala., resident (formerly of McMinnville) and Warren County native Henrietta Golden Patton Mabery, 93, was born April 2, 1919 and died Jan. 13 at Kindred Transitional Care in Huntsville following a lingering illness.A dental assistant and member of Arlington Church of Christ and Hermitage Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Alaska Elkana and Estella Pryor Golden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence D. Patton Sr., and Donald Lee Mabery; sister, Pauline Gribble; two brothers, Arthur and Hubert “Hoss” Golden; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, B.C. Cantrell Jr., J.D. Parker, Johnny Whitlock, Lola Golden, Nina Golden, Clarence and Ruby Reynolds, and Howard and Evalene Foster.She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Clarence D. and Norma Davenport Patton Jr., of Huntsville, and Gary Fite and Dianna Massengill Patton of Camden; stepdaughter Janice Mabery Carruth and husband Grant of Old Hickory; two brothers and sister-in-law, Austin Golden of McMinnville and Edwin and Joyce Golden of Tishomingo, Ms.; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice Cantrell of Viola, and Doris Whitlock, Stella Parker and Paul Grissom and Nelta Jo and Donald Cantrell, all of McMinnville; brother-in-law, Newton Gribble of Cookeville; sister-in-law, Faye Golden Stiles of McMinnville; three grandchildren and spouses, Lisa Dee Patton and Ryan Tyler of Florence, Ala., Michael Ray and Stephanie Patton of Monterey and Kenzie Leigh Patton of Camden; two great-grandchildren, Remington Drake Tyler and Daven Kennedy Tyler, both of Florence; three step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren; many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.Funeral service was held Tuesday at Arlington Church of Christ with Wayne Cantrell, Ryan Tyler and Charles Pearson officiating. Burial followed at Gardens of Memory.
