Manchester resident and Flintville native, Helen Virginia Fletcher, 80, died at her home Monday after an extended illness.The daughter of the late Ralph and Vessie Winn, she followed her sharecropping family to Alabama, Georgia, and Hillsboro. She married Basil Fletcher on Jan. 7, 1950. During the early years of their marriage, she was a homemaker, a factory worker, and assisted Basil in his ministry needs.
