Helen Ruth Fisher Hale, 86

Helen Ruth Fisher Hale, 86, a Rock Island resident and Warren County native, was born March 30, 1932 and died July 28 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was a homemaker, member of Campaign Church of God of Prophecy, and daughter of the late John W. and Sarah B. Green Fisher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, A.T. Hale Jr. in 2010; son Terry Lynn Hale in 2007; four brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Hale is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Danny R. and Shilia Hale of McMinnville; daughter-in-law Linda Hale of Rock Island; four grandchildren and spouses, Brandon and Denali Hale of Bell Buckle, Terra and Terry Gardner of Sparta, Bethany and Derrick Cooper of Auburntown, and Taylor and Angela Hale of Yuma, Ariz.; 10 great-grandchildren; and three sisters and brother-in-law, Verda Poss of McMinnville, Bertha and Willie Pack of Spencer, and Linda Simmons of McMinnville. Several nieces, nephews, family members and friends also survive.

Funeral service was Tuesday, July 31, at High’s Chapel with Rick Lyles officiating. Interment followed at Campaign Cemetery on the Hill. Online condolences may be made at
