McMinnville resident and Warren County native Helen Pearl Holt Roberts, 81, was born Sept. 7, 1929 and died April 5 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro following a sudden illness.A retired employee of McMinnville Garment Company and member of West Riverside Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Walter Willard and Mary Belle Gann Holt. She was married to John W. Roberts Jr., who preceded her in death in 1979. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Guy Roberts and 13 siblings.She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, John Wesley and Pamela Roberts III of Houston, Texas, Stanley Clark and Linda Roberts of Morrison, and Kenneth B. and Jewel Roberts of Centerville; daughter, Devita Roberts Bain of McMinnville; two sisters and brother-in-law, Rosie and J.C. Bouldin, and Earlene Vickers, all of Morrison; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dillard and Willie Holt of McMinnville, and Ray and Martha Holt of Morrison; 11 grandchildren, Stanley Clark, Daria, Amy Jo, Alecia, Cassey, Misty, John Wesley, Kendra, Chelsea, Dylan and Zebulum, and six great-grandchildren, Mercedes, Austin, Gwendolyn, Lauren, Paley and Camden.Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in High’s Chapel with Richard Gibbs and Ronald Stringer officiating.
