Hayden Colton Wilcher, the 19-month-old son of Chad and Shanatha Brannam Wilcher of Clemmons, N.C., was born Aug. 9, 2010 in Lexington, N.C., and died March 25 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Lisa Gail Tarter, paternal great-grandmother, Jo Jernigan Snider; paternal great-grandfather, Charles Herman Wilcher and maternal great-grandmothers, Bonnie McDonald and Annie Marie Pierce. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Dalton Wilcher; two sisters, Cameron and Brooklyn Burkett; paternal grandmother, Jan Jernigan Wilcher of McMinnville; paternal grandfather, Charles Herman Wilcher of McMinnville; maternal grandparents, Joe and Brenda Brannam of McMinnville; paternal great-grandfather, Rawlin C. Jernigan Sr. of McMinnville; paternal great-grandmother, Clareta Wilcher of McMinnville; maternal great-grandfather, Jr. Brannam of McMinnville and numerous other family members who loved him.Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in High’s Chapel with Eben Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow at Crain Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County.
