Morrison resident and Altamont native Hassie Myers, 77, died March 25 at St. Thomas MidTown Hospital in Nashville.A member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of Luther Myers and Sara Fults Myers.He is survived by her husband, Glynn Myers; sons, Joe Lynn Myers and William Randy Myers, both of McMinnville and Michael Myers of Centertown; daughter, Verna Brady of Chestnut Grove; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sister, Marie Parson of Grundy County; brothers, Kenneth Myers of McMinnville and Willard Myers of Viola; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Funeral services will be hled at 2 p.m. Friday at Gardens of Memory Funeral home with Clayton Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at Gardens of Memory.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.) March 26, 2014
