McMinnville resident and Nashville native Harold Woodlee Moore, 80, died Sept. 10 at his home after an extended illness.A retired employee of A.O. Smith and a member of the Church of Christ, he served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.The son of the late Ellis C. and Alice Woodlee Moore, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ruth Fish Moore; daughter-in-law, Deidre Moore; granddaughter, Jessica Moore; and brothers James and Bill Moore.He is survived by sons, John and Linda Moore of Manchester, Gary Moore, Jimmy and Cathy Moore, and Don and Doris Moore, all of McMinnville; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Jim Rifenbark of McMinnville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and brother Fred Moore of McMinnville.Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at High’s Chapel with Terry Dow officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory with military graveside rites administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. today, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, and 10 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at High’s.High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.)
