McMinnville resident and Warren County native Grover Fults Jr., 72, died June 22 at his residence after an extended illness.A self-employed nurseryman, he was the son of the late Grover Fults Sr., and Maggie Rogers Fults; and was preceded in death by brother L.C. Fults; sisters Margaret Priest, Joyce Cotton and Kathy Smith.He is survived by daughters Marlene Fults of Manchester and Denise Hassie of McMinnville; son, Timothy Fults of Manchester; sister, Ila Elkins and husband, Sandy of Murfreesboro; six brothers, Carl Fults, Don and Joyce Fults, Jerry and Gewanada Fults, Anthony and Shirley Fults, and Ricky and Judy Fults, all of McMinnville; brother-in-law, Larry Smith of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Lois McCormick of McMinnville.A memorial service will be held Saturday at Spirit of Life and Hope Church in Newtown at 1 p.m. with Bobby Bond and Tony Fults officiating.Gardens of Memory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
