Murfreesboro resident and Warren County native Grace Dale Swider, 76, died June 5 at NHC Healthcare in Murfreesboro after an extended illness.A lab technician with Stauffer Chemical, she was the daughter of Ernest and Bessie Pitterd Tenpenny; and was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Swider; son, Rolf Swider; sister, Louise Tenpenny and brother, James Tenpenny.She is survived by children and spouses, Jeff and Rhonda Tenpenny of Murfreesboro, Shannon and John McFarlin of Lascassas; grandchildren, Rachel and Brett Tenpenny of Murfreesboro, Andrew and James McFarlin of Lascassas; sister, Dorothy Reed of McMinnville; numerous nieces and nephews.Graveside services were held Tuesday at Liberty Cemetery with Jeff Tenpenny officiating.High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.)
