Gordon Hitchcock, 96, of Albany, Ga., was born on Jan. 17, 1919 and died Oct. 24. His wife of nearly 75 years, Dora Hitchcock, preceded him in death. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 28 at Mathews Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday and Rev. Ralph Horne will officiate.
