Goldie Louella Ferrell, 91, of McMinnville passed away Friday, Feb. 4, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville.


She was a retired seamstress from Smithville Shirt Factory and a Baptist. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 7, at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Whorton Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m.


Mrs. Ferrell was preceded in death by her parents William Murphy and Susie Goley Roller, a husband, Raymond Ferrell, two children, Lawrence Ralph, and David Ferrell, and several brothers and sisters.


Survivors include three daughters, Sue (Ronald) Dolberry of McMinnville, Gladys (Robert) Johnson of Columbia, Melissa Keys of McMinnville, six sons Virgil (Alvina) Ferrell of Manchester, Raymond Ferrell of Rock Island, James (Susan) Ferrell of Viola, Greg Ferrell of Blues Hill, Gary Ferrell and Bradley Ferrell, both of McMinnville. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren also survive.


Love-Cantrell Funeral Home in Smithville is in charge of arrangements.
