McMinnville resident and Van Buren County native Glen Edward Thomison, 69, died March 26 at Raintree Manor after an extended illness.A nursery worker and a member of the Church of Christ at White Hill, he was the son of the late James Marion and Della Jane Thomison and was preceded in death by sisters-in-law, Rose Thomison and Nellie Thomison and brother-in-law, Eugene Rowland.He is survived by brothers, James Thomison of McMinnville and Ray Thomison of Morrison; sisters, Joyce Rowland, Linda and Ray Hale, all of Rock Island, Betty and Jimmy DeArmond of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today at White Hill Cemetery with Bob McCoy officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at High’s.High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.) April 28, 2013
