Gertye Barnes Wilson, 96, of McMinnville died Thursday, Aug. 25, at St. Thomas River Park Hospital. She was born Aug. 9, 1920 in Morrison and was a former employee with Kingsboro as a supervisor in the cutting department, worked at Farm Bureau for over 25 years preparing income taxes, and was a devoted member of Caney Branch the Baptist Church. Gertye was a devoted mother and grandmother to her family.
