McMinnville resident and Van Buren County native Gertrude Krupa, 93, was born Jan. 7, 1924 and died June 11 at Webb House Retirement Center in McMinnville.A homemaker and a member of Central Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late V.B. and Cordelia Davis Carmack. She was married to Andrew Krupa, who preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 2002. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Stella Burks, Ruth Kennerly and Zella Curtis; and two brothers, Elmer and Lester Carmack.She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Gary Johnson of Warren, Mich., Anita Pahman of Town Creek, Ala., Janet and Willie Taylor of Chase, Mich. and Janice and Larry Boyd of McMinnville; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Gala Krupa of Laceys Spring, Ala.; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and two sisters, Dorothy Cope of Spencer and Bobbie Hall of Nashville.
