McMinnville resident and DeKalb County native Geraldean J. Reynolds, 78, was born March 2, 1936 and died Jan. 15 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness.A homemaker and of the Protestant faith, she was the daughter of the late Brackett and Chloe Stoner Jones. She was married to Thomas Leroy Reynolds, who preceded her in death Nov. 5, 1994. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Frances Wilson, Opal Cantrell, and Faye Hobbs.She is survived by two sons, Troy Max Reynolds of McMinnville, and Gregory Dean Reynolds of Cookeville; four grandchildren, John Steven Reynolds, Khloe Meree Reynolds, Tori Deann Reynolds and James Edward Murphy; three sisters, Arlene J. Oakley and Gail Bouldin, both of McMinnville, and Johnnie Mae Jones of Rock Island; two brothers, Burton Jones of McMinnville and Clifton Jones of Portland; and several nieces and nephews.A graveside service and interment will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Danny Jones and Teddy Jones officiating.
