Georgia Lee Barrett Lance, 88, died Thursday, June 11, at Woodbury Nursing Center following an extended illness. She was a native of Cannon County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam “Did” Barrett and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Wimberly Barrett and her husband, Albert Quentin “Tadpole” Lance.She is survived by sons Barry (Kim) Lance of Gladville and Benny (Patricia) Lance of Woodbury; grandchildren Laticia (Andy) Davis, Lori Beth (Marcus) Adams, Josh Lance and Emilee Lance; great-grandchildren Hunter and Abbi Davis and Ace Lance Adams; brother Donald Ray (Jeanette) Barrett of Woodbury; several nieces and nephews.
