George Slaton McClain, 71, of McMinnville died Tuesday, Dec. 1 in at Saint Thomas West Hospital. Born Dec. 14, 1943 in Waynesboro, he was a 32rd degree Mason, belonging to the Scottish Rite and was a Shriner. He was a foreman at Genesco, general foreman at Carrier and retired as a general foreman at Thomas & Betts, was a member of First United Methodist Church, and loved hunting and horseback riding.
