George Daniel (Danny) Ballard, 70, of McMinnville, died Thursday, Sept. 15, at Saint Thomas Mid-Town Hospital in Nashville. He was born Aug. 7, 1946, in Covington, was a former employee of Carrier, a farmer, member of the Cattleman’s Association, and was a member of McMinnville First Baptist Church where he loved attending the men’s Monday night fellowship meeting. Mr. Ballard was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Woodrow and Helene Marie Richardson Ballard, and his brother Tommy Ballard.
