Fred Randolph, 95, a Sparta resident and Hazel Green, Ala., native was born Oct. 31, 1922 and died Jan. 25 in Cookeville Regional Hospital following an extended illness. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Army, member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church and son of the late Tim and Irene Curtis Randolph. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son Gary Randolph; stepson, Timothy Edward Sharp; sister Eula Randolph; three brothers, R.L. and Clifton Priest and Jessie Randolph.
