Fred “Boomer” Ramsey, 38, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native, was born Jan. 23, 1979 and died Oct. 28 at his residence following a 10 year-illness.He was a former employee of Wal-Mart, member of the Church of Christ and the Methodist Church and son of Marcia Ramsey of McMinnville and Fred Ramsey of McMinnville. Mr. Ramsey was preceded in death by devoted first cousin, Darren Ramsey; maternal grandparents, Joe and Ione Marchbanks; and paternal grandparents, Edd and Annie Ramsey. In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by sister, Shelly Ramsey of Nashville; uncle, Bill Ramsey and wife Joe of McMinnville; aunt, Joyce Marchbanks of McMinnville; and several great-aunts and uncles and cousins.
