Morrison resident and Smithville native Frank Lee Watson Jr., 71, died Friday, May 6, at his home after an extended illness.The son of the late Rev. Frank Lee and Eula E. (Bond) Watson, he was preceded in death by four sisters and eight brothers.A retired employee of Century after 38 years of service and a member of the Tennessee National Guard where he served as a sergeant, he is survived by his wife of 38 years, Nancy S. (Simons) Watson; daughters and sons-in-law, Celena W. and Randy Gilliam of South Pittsburgh, Kim W. and Jeff Killen of Hollywood, Ala., Shelly M. and Mark Stroemer of Groveland, Ill.; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Amy Watson of South Pittsburgh; sister, Frances Billings of McMinnville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul F. and Annette Watson, David E. and Leotta Watson, Morris B. Angele Watson, all of McMinnville, Johnny E. and Barbara Watson of Dyer.; seven grandchildren and spouses, Erica and Dan Dyer, Jessica and Chad Leverett; Stanton Gilliam, Cody Redkey, Preston Gilliam, Brady Shaw Killen, Shawn Marlow; two great-grandchildren, Ralston Watson and Opal June Dyer.Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home Chapel with Dennis Deweese officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. today, and 10 a.m. until time of service Monday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home.Gardens of Memory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.)
