McMinnville resident and Warren County native Frank Cantrell Roberts, 85, was born May 27, 1926 and died Nov. 10 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness.A retired employee of Carrier Corporation, a United States Navy veteran of World War II, and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Jessie and Groverlee Woodlee Roberts. He was married to Katherine Cantrell Roberts, who preceded him in death. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Whitman and two sisters, Eva Sain and Inez Pegg.He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Joanna Roberts, and Billy and Yvonne Roberts, all of McMinnville, and Frank and Dana Roberts of Normandy, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Sue Roberts of McMinnville; sister, Fay Mix of McMinnville, and several nieces and nephews.
