Frances Boyd, 81, a Warren County resident and native, was born July 28, 1936 and died July 7 at NHC Healthcare of McMinnville following an extended illness.

She was a homemaker, member of Armstrong Church of Christ, and daughter of the late Jonah and Annie Fults Smartt. Mrs. Boyd was married Sept. 18, 1957 to Aubrey “Friday” Houston Boyd, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include two children, Jimmy Boyd and Sue and Porfirio Terrazas, all of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Angelica Terrazas and Daniel Parsley, Christi and Josh Mullins, Lola Terrazas and Aaron Miller and Rosa Terrazas, all of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law William and Mary Smartt of McMinnville; sister-in-law Bobbie Boyd of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was Tuesday at High’s Chapel with Mike Anderson officiating. Interment followed at Smyrna Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
