McMinnville resident and Warren County native Forrest Wayne “Buster”/”Sam Ye Am” Davenport, 76, was born March 10, 1941 and died March 25 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville following an extended illness.Retired from Century Electric and a member of Madison Street Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Delta Forrest and Dovie Barrett Davenport. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Betty Webb; and brother-in-law Smith Webb.He is survived by niece Nancy McBee and husband Don of McMinnville; nephew Mike Webb and wife Jimmie of McMinnville; three great-nieces Lauren McBee of Chattanooga, Ashley McBee of Murfreesboro, and Dara Webb Johnson of McMinnville; and one great-great-niece and one great-great-nephew. Mr. Davenport will be cremated.
