McMinnville resident and Delaware County, Ind., native Florence Ramsey Boyd, 85, died Dec. 29 at Riverview Terrace after an extended illness.A retired bookkeeper and a member of Tri-City Radio Corp in Muncie, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Reeder Byrd and Myrtle Belle Ramsey, and was preceded in death by her husband, Huston Perry Boyd and brother, Clay Ramsey.She is survived by brother, Reeder Ramsey Jr., of Muncie; sister, Kathleen Smith of Rocky Face, Ga.; sisters-in-law, Lucy Ramsey of Nashville, and Ruth Ramsey of McMinnville; nephew, Boyd Ramsey of McMinnville and Kelly Thaxton of Quebeck; several nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Bascom Cemetery with Byron Chambers officiating.
