Florence Nunley Scott, 71, of McMinnville died Wednesday, Nov. 2, at DeKalb Community Hospital.She was born March 9, 1940, in Grundy County, was a homemaker and was affiliated with the Church of Christ. Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by parents, William Carroll and Barbara Grace Schiesser Nunley; husband, Levice Edwin Scott; brothers, J.W. Nunley, Kenneth Carl Nunley, Kermit Ray Nunley, and Kelly Greenberry Nunley; and sisters, Louella Grace Nunley Yates and Carolyn Nunley Hodgson.Survivors include daughter, Debbie Scott of McMinnville; son, Keith Scott of McMinnville; brothers, David Abraham Nunley and wife Georgia of Beersheba Springs, and Paul Dwight Nunley and wife Faye of Rock Island; and sister, Hilda Marie Nunley Martin and husband Willis of McMinnville; many nieces and nephews.Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
