Evelyn Pedigo Crouse, 93, died Thursday, July 28 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Graham Crouse; her parents, William Dexter and Nettie Georgia Pedigo; sister, Hallie Brown and brothers, Frank Pedigo, Leonard Pedigo and Dexter Pedigo, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Estelle Bluhm of Knoxville,; brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Naomi Pedigo of Morrison and Kenneth and Myrna Pedigo of McMinnville; grandchildren, Michelle Taylor of LaVernia, Texas, Amanda Wingard of Houston, Texas, Kenneth Pittman, Md., of Chattanooga and Ashley Coburn of LaVernia, Texas; great-grandchildren, Cailyn Taylor, Micah Taylor and Madison Coburn, all of LaVernia, Texas; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Algie and Patsy Crouse of Marion, Va.; sister-in-law, Mary Pedigo of Ripley, Ms.; and brother-in-law, Ed Brown of Stone Mountain, Ga. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel in Marion, Va., with Minister Tim Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Crouse-Wassum Family Cemetery in Marion. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 p.m. until time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
