Evelyn Lorene Mills Walker, 94, a Rock Island resident and Van Buren County native, was born June 9, 1923 and died May 23 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following a brief illness. She was a homemaker, member of Mt. Leo Church of Christ, and daughter of the late Willie C. and Dovie Craig Mills.
