Eva Eudean Gilley, 83

McMinnville resident and Overton County native Eva Eudean Gilley, 83, was born March 28, 1933 and died Feb. 13 at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Mich.
A retired employee with the U.S. Postal Service and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Willie Robinson and Florence Ellen Daniels Conner. She was married to Kenneth Ray Gilley, who died March 31, 2008. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by son Bobby Gilley; granddaughter Christina Wing; sister Alta Foust; and brother Charles “Chuck” Conner.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Debby and Mike O’Brien of Southfield, Mich., and Diane and Bill Wing of Livonia, Mich.; grandchildren, Lisa and Mark Felker, Jackie O’Brien, Sean and Suzie O’Brien and Gene and Sally O’Brien; four great-grandchildren; brother, Junior Conner of Murfreesboro; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22 in High’s Chapel with Fred Bivens officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and from 8 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at High’s. Online condolences may be made at
