Eunice Loyd Hodge Norris, 96, of Rock Island, died Friday, Oct. 14, at her residence. She was born Feb. 19, 1920, in Manchester, was a homemaker, a pastor’s wife of the United Methodist Conference, and member of Christ United Methodist Church. Eunice was one of the original Rosie the Riveters in California during World War II and worked at the Canteen at Camp Forrest.
