Mr. Eugene Sanders Webb, 88, of Smithville passed away Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024 at NHC Health Care in Smithville. He was born Aug. 14, 1935, in Smithville, was a retired Civil Engineer and State Inspector for the state of Tennessee. Sanders was a member of the Church of Christ and a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Viola Sanders Webb and his wife, Dorothy Jean Redmon Webb. Survivors include his good friend, Jack Green and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Elder Ricky Arnold and Bro. Wayne Cantrell will officiate. Interment will follow at Keltonburg Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Webb will be held on Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. A Masonic service held on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. overseen by Masonic Lodge No. 77.
