McMinnville resident and Spencer native Emmagene Hamrick, 76, died April 19 after an extended illness.A homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Hassie (Yates) Sullivan; and was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Leon Hamrick and sister, Bonnie Hale.She is survived by sisters, Louise Young and Mary Jo Johnson of McMinnville, and Lillian Young of Rock Island; brothers and sisters-in-law, James Sullivan of Spencer, Danny and Betty, Lester and Sue, Chester and Wanda, Clyde Jr. and Brenda Sullivan, all of McMinnville, Bobby and Wilma Sullivan of Smithville; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Campbell, Danny Sullivan and Jarvis Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
