McMinnville and Birmingham, Ala., resident and White County native Elva Loucinda Johnson, 89, was born July 27, 1924 in White County and died Sept. 1 at NHC.The daughter of the late Asbury and Vennie Johnson, she was preceded in death by sisters, Elsie Grammer, Reno Davis and Emily Byers of Decatur, Ala.; three brothers, Frank and James Johnson of Decatur, and Clead Johnson of Walling.She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Ettie Johnson of McMinnville and Dorothy Johnson of Decatur; niece, Mary and Waymon Blackwell of McMinnville; along with several other nieces and nephews.Services will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home in Decatur with George Mederic Ratcliff officiating.
