Elma Deane Haston, 84, of Spencer died Wednesday, Aug. 10, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. Born Monday, Sept. 28, 1931 in Spencer, she was the daughter of the late Robert Taylor Bryant and Cleo Irene Simons Bryant. Surviving family members include daughter Judy Deane Templeton Witherspoon (Don) of Lebanon; son William C. Templeton (Donna) of Sparta; daughter, Carol Jean Templeton Cooper of Smyrna; grandchildren, Justin H. Witherspoon, Shane Witherspoon, Deica Witherspoon Disney , Aaron C. Templeton, Amanda Kaye Gulla, Joshua D. Cooper, Jesse T. Cooper; siblings, Bennie “Buck” Bryant, David B. Bryant, Patti Sue McCormack, and DeAnn Killebrew; great grandchildren, Kristen, Korbin, Jayda, Aden, Cambria, Faith, Raegan, Willa, Brooklynn, Kailynn, Jake, Hailee, Jaxson and Knox; special family friends, Terry and Nita Long, Tammy and Scotty Smith.
