Ellinora Bernatonis Vinson, 92, formerly of McMinnville, died Sunday, Oct. 27 at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital in Wyandotte, Mich. Mrs. Vinson was born Dec. 3, 1920, in Worcester, Mass., and was preceded in death by her parents, William and Eva Kiselis Bernatonis; her husband of 61 years, Phillip Brown Vinson; sisters, Eva Rice and Julia Bernatonis, and brother Felix Bernatonis.She and her husband Phillip retired to McMinnville in 1981 and were members of the Church of Christ at Earleyville. She served her country with the U.S. Army during World War II.Survivors include her son, Phillip Reed Vinson and wife Pamela and daughter Lee Vinson; grandchildren, Christopher Marc (Tabatha) Vinson, Bryan Sean Vinson, Heather Jeanne (Michael) Applegate; and great-grandchildren, Mallory Nicole Vinson, Myles Weston Vinson, and Henry Reed Applegate.Funeral service will be at noon Friday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
