Elizabeth Jean Bratten, 88, died Oct. 31 in Jackson, Mich., after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Ray Bratten; her parents, William and Hannah Roach; and three sisters, Helen Bush, Margaret Moll and Katherine Perardi.She is survived by sister, Lois Maynard of Huntington Beach, Calif.; sons and daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Bratten of Las Vegas, Nev., Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bratten of Chelsea, Mich., Mr. and Mrs. John Bratten of Morrison; grandchildren, Jennifer Bratten of Las Vegas, Jason Bratten of Chicago, Ill., Kimberly Bratten Francis of Greeneville, and Mindy Bratten of Morrison, and one great-grandchild, Henry Bratten of Chicago.Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 9 at Weise Funeral Home in Allen Park, Mich., from 4 to 8 p.m. with services at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s research.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.)
