Rock Island resident and Warren County native Edwin Harold Ray, 85, was born April 14, 1927 and died Feb. 18 at his residence following a short illness.A retired Rock Island Postmaster, a United States Air Force veteran and a member of Christ Church at Bone Cave, he was the son of the late Everett “Buck” and Cleta Estell Chisam Ray.He was married to Claudene Francis Ray of Rock Island. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Jan Kendall and husband Terry of Cookeville, and Keith Ray of Rock Island; and one grandchild, Macie Kendall of Cookeville.Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in High’s Chapel with Anthony Templeton officiating.
