Edna Mae Young, 77, of McMinnville, died Monday, Jan. 8, at her granddaughter’s residence in Readyville. She was born Feb. 25, 1940, in McMinnville, was a retired employee of SK Wellman Corp, and a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Young was preceded in death by parents Thomas Jefferson and Ollie Pauline Durham Mears, husband J.B. Young, sisters, Anita Reed, Margaret Tramell, Daisey Bailey, Dorothy, Ovie, and June Mears, and brothers Aubrey, Carmen, and Big James Mears.
