Edith L.V. Young, 95, of Smithville passed away Thursday at NHC in Smithville. A homemaker and a member of Mt. View Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her husband, Amerce Young, parents Ollie Monroe Barnes and Sarah Della Barnes Redmon, stepfather Thomas Redmon, two sisters, Irene Barnes and Martha Ann Foster, brother Alvie Barnes and three infants, Wilma Dean, Arlie Edward and James Allan.
