McMinnville resident and Warren County native Eddie Jo Cox Nunley, 91, was born Sept. 6, 1930 and died May 28 at Willow Branch in McMinnville following an extended illness.

A retired supervisor with Rockford Textile Mill and member of the Mt. Leo Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Edison Omer and Sally Alda Rogers Cox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Joe Edward Nunley, sons Darrell and Dennis Nunley, daughter Brenda Nunley, brothers Charles, Edgar, Jimmy, Junior and Douglas Cox and sisters, Juanita Young and Sharon Davis.

Mrs. Nunley is survived by brothers and sister-in-law, Carl (JoAnn) Cox of McMinnville, and Everrett Cox of Indiana, sisters Peggy Troxell of Indiana, Chris Manis of Indiana, and Deborah Taylor of LaVergne, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. 

Graveside service and interment was held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Lane Dix officiating. Visitation was held before the service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
