Spencer resident Ed Higdon, 79, passed from this life Tuesday, June 12, with his family at his bedside. He was born April 14, 1939 in Marion County. Mr. Higdon was a registered nurse and retired U.S. Navy HM1 (Hospital Corpsman 1st Class).
