Dwight Oliver Jones, 68, a Smyrna resident and Warren County native, died Nov. 26 in Vanderbilt University Medical Center following a sudden illness.Mr. Jones was a CPA at Jones Brothers, a member of The Smyrna Church of Christ, and son of the late Otis Jones and Margaret Oliver. He was married June 26, 1971 to Rita Ann Whiteaker, who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Dwight Oliver (Christine) Jones of Nashville, and John Isaac (Crystal) Jones of Murfreesboro, and grandchildren, Faith Jones and Wyatt Jones.Funeral service was held Tuesday in High’s Chapel with Tim Lavender officiating.
