McMinnville resident and Warren County native Doyle “Wimpy” Boyd, 53, was born Dec. 6, 1957 and died Nov. 19 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness.A machinist at Century Electric and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of Winona Passons Boyd of Rock Island, and the late John Thomas Boyd. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Glenn Boyd. He was married March 2, 1974 to Lisa Mayfield Boyd of McMinnville.
