McMinnville resident and Detroit, Mich., native Douglas Richard Lott, 64, was born Dec. 18, 1956 and died Feb. 3 at his residence following an extended illness.
A retired business owner, he was the son of the late Richard Lott and Nancy Henning Lott of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. He was married to Karen Jo Curtis Lott of McMinnville on July 4, 1990. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by father-in-law Raymond Curtis and brother-in-law, Tony Curtis.
In addition to his mother and wife, Mr. Lott is survived by two daughters, Melissa Lott of Murfreesboro, and Brittney Lott of McMinnville, stepson Kris Beckwith of McMinnville, sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Wayne Harris of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., aunt Linda Henning of California, mother-in-law Dorothy Curtis of McMinnville, two nephews and one niece, brother-in-law and daughter-in-law Tim and Janice Curtis of Doyle, two nieces, Kiley and Ashlyn Curtis, and nephew Jon Curtis of McMinnville.
