Dorothy Jean Polly Woodlee, 82

Dorothy Jean “Polly” Woodlee, 82, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native, was born Dec. 4, 1935 and died May 23 at her residence following a sudden illness.

She was a retired bookkeeper, member of Westwood Church of Christ, and daughter of the late Edgar D. and Jimmie K. Newby Bain. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Ralph Franklin Woodlee Sr.; daughter Sandra Akers; and brother Douglas Bain.

Mrs. Woodlee is survived by children and spouses, Susan and Joey Criddle of McMinnville, Kathy and Ron Neale of McMinnville, Blake Woodlee of Murfreesboro, Timothy Woodlee of McMinnville, Christopher and Jona Woodlee of Huntsville, Ala., Jennifer and Duane Brooks of McMinnville, Frank and Lori Woodlee of McMinnville; grandchildren, Mallory, Jacob, Noah and Sullivan Woodlee, Caroline and Claire Brooks, Renee (Serjio) Avantes, Jon (Lesley) Neale, Chris (Hilary) Neale and Frankie Woodlee; and special caregiver Joy Key.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 25, at High’s Chapel with Bob Deason to officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Friday until the time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
