Dorothy Fredia Lucille England, 71, of McMinnville died Friday, March 1 at River Park Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born in Ringgold, Ga., on July 26, 1941, a daughter of the late Alma and William Harris. She worked as a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy H., and husband Thomas McClure of McMinnville, Charlotte L., and husband Brian Emberton of McMinnville; two sons George E., and wife Cindy England of McMinnville; James W., and wife Gloria England of McMinnville; several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends; 12 grandchildren, Mandy McClure Slatton, Christopher McClure, Bryson England, Ashley Emberton, Bradley Emberton, Alan Hill, Amber Hill, Michael Howard, Randy Howard, Jason Coppinger, Joseph Coppinger, Tyler Hughes and 13 great-grandchildren.
She preceded in death by her husband, Vernon E. England, parents William and Alma Harris, one daughter, Wanda A. (England) Petz, and one great-granddaughter, Preslie Slatton.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday with visitation from 8 a.m. to the time of the service at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home. Richard Haley will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in McMinnville. To sign the online guest book, visit www.gardensofmemoryfuneralhome.com.
