McMinnville resident and Warren County native Doris Delores Glenn, 82, was born Sept. 28, 1935 and died March 9 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro following an extended illness.

The owner of Delores’ Market and a member of New Bybee Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Hamby and Rosie Jones Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Harold Glenn.

She is survived by three children and spouses, Stevie and Debbie Glenn of Rock Island, Levie and Leta Glenn of McMinnville, and Gereta Davis of McMinnville; seven grandchildren, Stephenie King, Stephen Glenn II, Kyle Glenn, Christopher Fuqua, Jamie Judkins, Clint Davis and Corey Davis; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Judy Martin of Rock Island, and Gary and Brenda Martin of Rock Island; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and David Grissom of Rock Island; caregivers, Wilma Gibbs, Linda Whitlock, Jean Glenn, Brenda Bennett, Barbara Lance, Kathy Elrod and Debbie Higgins; and a special thanks to friends, Carol Martin, Dottie Hillis, Georgia Adcock and Jalesia Hanson.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 11, at High’s Chapel with Tim Lewis and David Grissom officiating. Burial will follow at New Bybee Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
