Doretha Marie Moore Qualls, 77

Lincoln Park, Mich., resident and Groveport, Ohio native Doretha Marie Moore Qualls, 77, was born July 22, 1937 and died March 10 at her daughter’s residence in McMinnville following an extended illness.
A retired employee from Meijer Company and a member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Anna Mary Pennington Moore. She was married to Clarence E. Qualls, who preceded her in death March 4, 1993. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Clyde Lemaster.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Hall (David) of Allen Park, Mich., and Crystal Qualls and George Whiles of McMinnville; four sons, Edmund Keith Qualls of Lincoln Park, Steven Qualls and Lori Parent of Morrison, James Qualls of McMinnville and Darryl Qualls of McMinnville; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brother, Rev. George Moore (Mary Ann) of Lincoln Park; and several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
A graveside service and interment will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Coffee County with Tom Fittis officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at High’s.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
